How it works

Six steps from booking to sand

1

Book your dates

Choose your dates and vehicle online. Any day of the week works as a start day.

2

Upload insurance

Send proof of liability, collision, and comprehensive auto coverage before your arrival date.

3

Send your flight

Give us your flight number — we text you the garage, level, and spot before you land.

4

Land at ORF

Collect your bags at Norfolk International as normal. Nothing else to check in for.

5

Take a transfer vehicle

Walk from baggage claim to the garage — the keys are in the transfer vehicle. Snap a picture of your license and we tell you where the keys are. No driver to wait on, no desk — landing late is fine. Drive to the Outer Banks — our lot is in Kill Devil Hills, about 1 hour 45 away.

6

Swap, air down, and drive

Swap into your 4x4 at our Outer Banks lot — 2101 Colington Rd, Kill Devil Hills, sharing a driveway with U-Haul. Corolla is about 45 minutes north; drop to 18–20 PSI before you hit the sand.

Who you’re booking with

A local 4x4 outfit, not a franchise desk

ORF Jeep Rental is operated by Beach 4x4 LLC, based on the Outer Banks. Same vehicles, same phone number, same people, who know these beaches.

Your trip starts and ends at the Norfolk International Airport parking garage — a transfer vehicle covers the run between ORF and our Outer Banks location in Kill Devil Hills. We do not operate an airport rental counter.
